The video shows the Universal Quartz flash in action on a 12-color Falcon automatic press. It demonstrates how the flash instantly comes on when a platen comes underneath it and then automatically shuts off. When hooked up by cable to the press, the flash cure dwell time can be set at the Falcon control panel.

It also shows it can be used on any model of manual or automatic press with the use of an electrical eye that detects the movement of the platen underneath the flash. A separate timer sets the dwell time, and it also shows the control to set one of three heating zones: small, medium, or large, so you do not have to waste energy firing the entire flash cure for smaller than full-size prints.

The height-adjustable wheel, which can move the flash up and down depending on the thickness of the substrate, also is demonstrated.
