See the Powerhouse 2608 Quartz Conveyor Dryer in Action

The latest Workhorse videos are a two-part series that present a complete tour of the inside and outside of the Powerhouse 2608 Quartz Conveyor dryer. Presented by Bob Drake, president, Performance Screen Supply, a Workhorse distributor, this video highlights the main features this dryer offers and is the next best thing to seeing it at a trade show.

It also demonstrates how the digital temperature display works, the adjustable belt speed control, and the three modes of the dryer which are main, flash, and cap.

The top panels are removed and you are shown how fast and easy it is to replace quartz elements and the thermo coupler, which is generally only needed every few years. With the easy removal of three screws, the hinged control panel door is opened and you can see the easy-to-understand organized layout of the control panel with each wire labeled and numbered. This makes it easy to call a technician who can guide you through a repair that you can do yourself.

You also can see how the inside of the dryer is lined with sheet metal, which keeps the insulation contained so it does not escape inside the dryer.
